Some of the initiatives your donation supports:
1. Education
Our education program supports students and staff at Light Stream Academy in Monrovia, Liberia. Your monthly contribution helps sponsor students who can’t afford school fees; it also supports staff salaries, facility upkeep, and education supplies such as textbooks, lab equipment, computers, as well as equipment for the arts, music, and athletics.

2. Orphan Project
The LEAP Orphan Project began in 2014 as a response to the Ebola crisis in Liberia. The Ebola crisis (2014-2016) left many children without one or both parents and LEAP has been able to support these children (and families that have taken them in) in and around Monrovia. Donations to the project supply rice, school tuition and supplies (uniform, bag, books), and clothes.
Currently, the project is able to support about 50 children monthly; however, we’d love to see that number increase, as there are many more children not receiving help. There are additional government & charitable programs in place to help these children that have lost parents due to Ebola. However, in addition to food, clothing, and schooling, LEAP is able to share the love of God with these children.
3. General Projects
Your donations can contribute to specific current projects and initiatives such as building projects, agricultural projects, health initiatives, and economic development efforts. In 2018, LEAP donors helped purchase 75 acres of land just outside of Monrovia. This land will be used for agricultural and farming purposes. While still in the initial stages, project planning is underway with an agricultural specialist, local to the Monrovia area.
LEAP donors also helped to purchase 3 acres of land in Mount Barclay for the medical clinic we are planning to build. Your donations can support projects like these and many more!
